Product questions

Will a 40 mm kitchen island top move with seasonal humidity?

Yes — all solid wood panels move. The lamella orientation in our panels minimises cupping; the joiner must leave a perimeter clearance of 3–5 mm under stone or metal edges, and the underside must be finished identically to the top to balance moisture exchange.

Is the PVAc D4 glue suitable for kitchen use?

Yes — D4 is water-resistant per EN 204 and certified for food-contact furniture. For prolonged water contact (sinks, spa), specify PU adhesive; available on request.

Can you deliver panels pre-cut with sink and hob cut-outs?

No — we ship panels as rectangular blanks. Cut-outs, edge profiling and tap holes are part of the joinery shop's work; this keeps the edge sealing in their responsibility and lets them adjust for the real appliance template.

What's the maximum single-panel size you can produce?

Standard stock up to 850 × 2400 mm. Larger single-blank panels are possible as a special order (up to 1200 × 3000 mm, lamella width permitting) — lead time 8–10 weeks.
